This 2 and a half days course and 60 minutes exam provides an introduction to fundamentals, disciplines and principles of different types of software testing. Candidates will learn how to effectively prioritize and apply testing techniques and processes through practical exercises in relation to their work environment. The course provides insight into testing within different software development life cycles. It also covers theoretical concepts of software testing and quality assurance standards and best practices.

Successfully passing (65%) the 60 minute open-book exam, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions, leads to the MyTest Fundamentals Certificate as a Certified Software Tester. The certification is governed and maintained by AutoMyTest.
